WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY PORTRAIT SESSION FEE? ARE THE DIGITAL FILES INCLUDED IN MY SESSION FEE?  The session fee does not include digital files. This up front fee is for all that goes into making the images for your ordering gallery. ‘Time and talent’ is a phrase that is often used, but it’s so much more. Each session involves about 12 hours of session time, encompassing all that we do to prepare for your session, shoot your session and prepare your preview gallery for your review. All portrait clients have an ordering appointment either in person on via telephone, where our studio design consultant will help you to put together wonderful keepsakes and artwork using your images. Have a look at the Studio Price Menu here. Ordering appointments take place within 45 days after you receive your preview gallery. If you are not able to select your artwork within that time frame, we have storage options available for a small monthly fee. For Headshots, Content Creation Sessions and Small events, inclusions vary and are different from the Portrait Session fee structure.

WHEN WILL MY PHOTOS BE READY?   About four weeks after our session, (5-6 weeks for cottage sessions as they result in more images) a gallery of images will be available for viewing on your private web gallery the day before your ordering appointment. Final artwork orders will be ready within 3-6 weeks depending on the products ordered.   Headshots are ready in two to three weeks. During busy times at the studio there may be delays. Rushing is not an option for your images. We want to take the time to make them perfect for you. It’s worth the wait, we promise!

DO YOU ARCHIVE SESSION IMAGE FILES?   Of course!  Ordered images are kept safe for one year.  We have awesome, state of the art long term storage options available.  The images you didn't select at your ordering appointment are purged from our systems 45 days after your gallery is delivered to you.  Be sure to select everything you love! If you would like long term storage, we can discuss that with you at your ordering appointment.

DO YOU SELL DIGITAL FILES?    Yes.  But hold on a second there...we don’t like to sell just the digital files if at all possible.  We believe that spending time on styling, preparation and creating awesome images and then handing you a USB and saying ‘buh- bye’ is not really serving you properly.  Please let us print your images at a professional lab using the correct colour profiles and highest quality materials.  Allow us to finish the vision for your images by creating a beautifully designed album or wall gallery for you.  We even arrange for installation, if you'd like.  Ask yourself if and how you will print those digitals before going the DIY route.  

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION/POSTPONING POLICY?

We understand that sometimes you need to make a change to your session. Due to our pre-session process, we do not offer last minute bookings, so when you cancel, that date is not able to be rebooked unless adequate notice is given.

  • Family 45/For Kids Only sessions may be cancelled up to two weeks in advance for a full credit on your file to be used toward a future session fee. Up to one week results in 50% credit. Less than one week results in full session fee forfeited.

  • Family/Maternity/all full sessions may be cancelled up to three weeks in advance for a full credit on your file to be used toward a future session fee. Up to two weeks results in 50% credit. Less than two weeks results in the session fee forfeited.

  • Muskoka sessions cancelled four weeks in advance for a full credit on file to be used toward a future session fee. Less than four weeks results in the session fee forfeited.

  • Headshot sessions cancelled one week in advance for a full credit on file to be used toward a future session fee. Less than one weeks results in the session fee forfeited.

  • Branding sessions cancelled four weeks in advance for a full credit on file to be used toward a future session fee. Less than four weeks results in the session fee forfeited.
